$289k for the new accord is a steal. Looks great anytime I see it on the road.

Yup. Due for a test drive later this week hopefully. Still can't wrap my head to go Korean yet tho. And that small screen infotainment system is failure. Maybe the drive would convince me (I doubt)

Nissan Altima is available with a 3.5L V6.

You could also probably check the Toyota Camry. I believe that is also available with a 3.5L V6.

Guys I am in the process of buying a new 4x4 and can't decide if to go with the Ford ranger or hilux.

Would like to hear what are the pros and Cons of both.

I hav used d Revo. Its really good. Really good handling and accelaration. Wouls reccommend the 2.8 from Maska or If the company has them. Heard complaints abt d 3.0 having somewhat of a jerk when decelerating.

I nave the np300 frontier. Take it from me, the Hilux is superior. Ford Ranger 3.2 is powerful and huge but too expensive and resale will take a big hit. Plus Hilux more recognized as the chariot of choice for people south of price plaza.

I'd go with the new ranger 3.2 if I were you ZR, it's beaten the competition on a few comparisons that I've watched.
But as tuners rightly said, it will take a hit in resale and it's frigging huge, and it'd be a handful to maneuver in tight places, but the equipment, ride, power etc are hard to beat.

Test drove the new mazda 2 today. For the price 152 fully loaded it's probably the best value for money on the market. Very peppy engine and nice handling. Ride is a little rougher than what people expect in that segment but it's a mazda so that's expected

Thanks for the info guys. Not really keen on having to face licensing office for T permit. So thinking of the 2.5l hilux D/C at $235k. Don't want to take the chance on the 3l. Ford costly, but does look good did have some bad experience with their after sales service before.

They sell the 3.5 accord when I checked last week. Close to half mil tho

Same with the Camry. Wonder how much the Altima v6 goes for..

Wouldn't doubt it. Just concerned about the power and torque. Or lack thereof. If I had a 200hp would've been happy with that yes

When the dollar devalues the buying power is lessened remember the cost of vehicles will go up to the dealerships

Did the transmission feel like the old 4 speed auto or the newer skyactiv 6 speed auto

I understand that part, but I figured the demand for new cars would drop, thereby being an incentive for dealers to drop prices to rope in sales. Also, I thought the VAT reduction would have played a role.as well. Guess at the end of the day, the demand is still there so the dealer's will continue to charge a pound and a crown.
