Any one wanna create a 2NR rock band? lol
https://soundcloud.com/blues_89/high-times-with-b I'll be amazed if someone can listen all the way to the end!
Did that some time ago with a friend. I always saw playing guitar as a hobby but i always wanted to take it a bit more seriously.

First off thanks for making me feel inadequate. I'll stick to playing my Wilco covers to feel better

But yeah, good stuff. Listened to it a few times all the way through. The first part sounded like a 7 string. Was it?

I love to nerd out to drafts and pre production stuff, so I'll definitely be checking out your sound cloud. Keep up the good work, man.

Meanwhile , Chutney soca morons make millions from government funding to rip off other people music, write about 3 lines about rum, horn or both and you want to talk about get up and get.Rockers have been doing it a a labour of love for the last how many decades without ANY assistance from whichever government and shall continue to do so. From personal experience, dotish people come up to you and say things like " You wouldn't go far playing rock alone, because thats a minority music" and thats the mindset we have to deal with, or worse yet "How yuh supposed to wine to that?" Trinidad is not worthy of the rock talent that exists here.
Keep your soca and chutney .

No reason to get worked up over desifemdom's usual ill-informed opinions. She/it loves to pull facts from their lonely nether regions, convinced of their validity every time.

Rock is in a poor state worldwide. Even long standing bands are echoing the sentiment that things aren't like they used to be in the 80's as far as contract terms and figures are concerned. Band members revealing that they have day jobs and crap like that. Some make steadier incomes as faceless touring musicians for pop acts.

Throw in the fact that quality gigging equipment is ridiculously expensive, constantly upping your game to an audience of eager pirate listeners or difficult to please audience critics makes the option of greasing up your chest to become a Machel/KI clone much more sensible.
