This is when the public transport should have thrived.
Persons were unwilling to utilize public transport, but due to economic reasons if they were forced to in mass, there would have been an initial teething period but overall it would have eventually worked out better.
Continually allowing more cars (local new and foreign used) to be entered onto the roadways (which can only cater for a specific number of vehicles) was a poor move by all governments.
What a joke. I would use public transport if it was reliable; as would many of my colleagues.
Public transport is not readily available when the working population needs it therefore they have no choice but to find alternatives, such as using their own vehicle.
The E-W Corridor probably has better transportation that the rest of the country.
