matching 8s with drivers

need some advice here thanks.... have 1 pair RCF paper cone and 1 pair older model 18sounds 8" have perfect or more power for them with strong amps... which is a better match and not over power my 8z between pair of RCFn850 or selenium 3305... note::: mids will not be built n flare boxes..

Neither... Your best option would be running a pair of RCF ND450 instead... Those are the 1" high compression drivers... Imo using the N850 (2" driver) would be a little over kill for those 8's...

much appreciated roach...... just saw men used 1 10" with a the 2" drivers nah and figured how most people says two 12" will out perform one 15" in SUBS that is... was just using the same concepts.... debatable though!! so i ASSUMED my two 8" per big driver may have tied in properly .

If you have a device to control the output level, it will allow you to adjust your output to suit you.

understood and point taken.... but doing so wouldnt be taking away from the units true potential by lowering the output..?

By giving it full output wouldn't it mismatch?
My tweeters are at -20 and -17,if they were at 0 like my midrange all now I'd be deaf
