Inter Milan, Fiorentina and Napoli all played after us yesterday and they all one, meaning we were momentarily at the summit. So we are currently 4th but only 3 points behind leaders Inter. Those 3 teams can't slip up. Juve on a 8 game winning streak in the league that propelled us from 14th to 4th in the space of two months.

Away to Sampdoria @ 3:45 pm. Opportunity to go 2nd in the league. Inter Milan lost, Fiorentina lost, Roma slipped up again. Only side above us that is currently winning is Napoli. They are currently 2-0 ahead at halftime and will go first.

Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba has been named in the FIFPro World XI for 2015.

The French midfielder helped the Bianconeri to a domestic double and the Champions League final, and was included in the team of the year at today’s Ballon d’Or ceremony.

Pogba is the only Serie A representative in the team, with Manuel Neuer beating teammate Gianluigi Buffon to the goalkeeping spot.

No Italian players made the final cut, with Marco Verratti, Giorgio Chiellini and Andrea Pirlo having been on the original shortlist along with Buffon.

The three final candidates for the Ballon d'Or, Lionel Messi and Neymar of Barcelona and Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo take the attacking slots.
