Sadly it may be money badly spent as you can get good head units that will do the job and more than your available processing

In this day and age I still don't know why men see the need for external processing with the quality of headunits out there

sell the dqxs & epicenter, get a pioneer 80prs.
could sell the amp too and get a better one with the left over cash.

When you say option? You mean deck wise or amp?

My 2 cents, the 80 prs cannot be beat for the price it retails for. I have two and wouldnt have it any other way.

I have expensive taste, liking the faitals so far.

Im sure guys with more experience in pro audio can chip in probably but my personal choice are the Faitals or if you can find then, Eminence kappa.

Awesome amp/sub combo if the sub is the older Pro Series.
Do you have the module that activates the rear channels of the amp?

I am positive, least one person telling you, that you absolutely need all those separate pieces of legacy audiocontrol equipment, when as many have said, there are very good head units available with much better than average processing.

As for your choice of speakers, that is where the lion's share of your budget should stay.

You mentioned a small budget. At least you have a budget.

My advice, ask the right questions, get proper installation advice, and do your own installation, using the money you saved from that, to invest in better speakers.

This is misinformation! If the kit works as desired, why is it badly spent money, esp since it was gathered over time?

I am sure a significant percentage of the sq cars you judge have external processing.

Legacy Audiocontrol equipment, gathered over time, or yesterday, is good for one thing. a Collection.

An I say this, owning a mint pair of EQT's and a 4xs. Neither of which may never ever see an install.

I have owned and used the System 90 model 11. It crudely achieves spatial correction by phase shift.
A DQXS is quite simply the most dissapointing device you can spend money on. No offense to the OP. The device is at best a 3.3v device. The manual says whatever. A discussion with Tom Walker, and his explaination of the opamps confirm what I said...

Knowing the importance of time, phase, independant levels, crossover slopes, will help you better understand why those legacy AC gear aren't necessarily the best investment, when you compare what you can get for a headunit, with adequate processing that spits out 4v plus all day long.

Nervewrecker thanks....but that was a task to download and review those pics...

See the 80 prs good eh real good ...but my stock deck is double din...it would look as if something is missing if I use a single din...did some more research on the pioneer 80prs

The 80prs would be a waste if you are using the processing listed above. If not then look for a pioneer double din with the 13 band eq and time alignment from either 2014 15 or if possible the 2016 model lineup
