quoted as evidence of stupidity

carry on

You must be one of those Reza Aslan apologists.

Islam is the tool used to motivate a desolate group of people, yes any other religion could be used but one must admit there's something slightly more dangerous in the teachings and tolerance of Islam.

Did I say the vast majority of Muslims are bad? No, they're good people, but their religion promotes a bias that is inherently dangerous to he western world. Christianity until recently was almost as bad, but they have somewhat evolved. We can wait for Islamists to evolve, but until then the religion is a problem.

You really are a very special breed of idiot aren't you?

Would be incredible if you could formulate an opposing argument. I can help you if needed.

LeRobot, read carefully

Then you say

I do my best to avoid getting into debates with lesser minded individuals, thus I am afraid for you that I must leave you to argue with yourself. Judging from your postings thus far they clearly show that you already have some experience with that, so you should be fine.

88sins,

Did something confuse you in my posts? Do you disagree with Islam being the core of this problem? If so, enlighten me, because while the US and co. can be blamed for creating and worsening a geopolitical mess, Islamic fundamentalism is making a bad situation exponentially worse.

I said it before; the literal Islamic teachings are dangerous. However, so are Biblical teachings. Notwithstanding, they get away with it nowadays because they have evolved a more secular mindset. Most of Europe are pseudo-Christians, who follow the tradition, not the religion. Islam needs to grow into that mindset if they wish to coexist peacefully in the west.

There're a lot of knee jerk reactions by 'moderate' Muslims saying how ISIS aren't Islamic. That is the fallacy I wish to correct because, in fact, ISIS are following the Quran down to a T. They are Wahhabism or Islamic literalists, and in a war-stricken country like Syria it is quite easy to sway the ignorant masses by brainwashing them with the Quran.

Many think ISIS are reckless and lack foresight, far from it. Their goal is to separate the true Muslims from the moderates. Their enemy is as much the West as it is the moderate Muslims. Which means, they are doing all that they can to alienate Muslims in the West until they have little choice but to either radicalize (in the face of discrimination) or reject the fundamental laws of their religion.

Doing so polarizes all Muslims and will, unfortunately, result in more ISIS supporters as Muslims will be forced to pick sides.

This is probably exactly what the Islamic worlds needs to evolve and integrate properly into the western world. There will be blood, and it will last quite some time, but it has always been building up to this. And it is the fault of a defective, dangerous ideology of Islam.

In future, being a good Muslim in the West necessitates you go against the fundamental principles in the Quran, and Muslims need to accept that, otherwise they will be lumped with ISIS sympathizers.
