With all things being equal... I highly doubt that.

What does "more tonal" mean?

But whatever.

More tonal meaning playing more notes than the 2 12s loudforce
Due to the cabin space I had. The fs in the dd higher than the loudforce so playing louder notes. And no bass boost was used

Doesn't the loudforce have a 45hz fs?

Crackshut must be related to threeplumes, have a Sundown sa12 with a 31hz fs and thinking that's better than a kicker S12l7 with the same 31hz fs.

The loudforce 85 series Version 1s which he has has a FS of 28 hz...

The Newer Red Basket Version 2's has a 35 HZ FS

Not sure how the Op could have claimed the DD to be more "tonal". Im guessing the enclosure has alot do with it..

Saw the loudforce 85 series quoted as having a 45hz fs here on 2nr, must have been mistyped.

It isn't because???? The cone area of the l7 is larger ent?

...Dunno jus asking

They actually both sounded the same to me in proper box built for each, I'd give the sa12 for being smoother, the l7 louder. Not much difference.

I'd stick to my pair of 26hz fs pieces of sheit though.
