Try ah ting Morne Diablo today, nice bite but too much seaweed, gumming up lines and leads to the point where fish just feeding off the bait and not feeling anything, lost too many leads so gave up. Bought some fish instead

Not really, nothing visible on the shoreline or water, but the current was strong, strong enough to drag 4oz sinker along the bottom and snag seaweed.

Had a decent weekend on the se coast only catching one keeper, but it was worth the paddling. Three 1+ hr sessions, crappy bait other than fiddler crabs (which on a small boat are not easy to single out) but did get a 3 lb carite on a top water rattle rapalla. Fresh broth real lash!



Less is more when kayak fishing, had my first re-entry capsize. Only lost some weights thankfully. Heavy wind, and a minor under current made me drift a lot...need to get a small sand anchor and start marking some banks. But just trolling along the shoreline provided a few strikes.
