Funny how bezman wait until election winner confirmed then to ban zr. Lolz

All the negative highlights of the Unc supporters in this loss were observed by the PNM supporters in 2010.
And those same PNM supporters act as though they own the place now.

How ever the official image is, the street image is the same between both sides... Just one red and the other yellow.

The only grounds that Unc had that can be used to challenge the ebc on heir extension is that if the PNM officials were informed a significantly greater time before the unc officials, and thus had more time to prepare.

This is important because if the representatives for the candidates aren't there at the polling divisions to ensure thjngs go on fairly, there is the possibility of conpsiration amongst the persons at the polling division to rig ballots against that candidate.
It is a slim chance but a possibility nonetheless, and would be in greater effect if there was colaboration. And that the matter needs to be investigated to prove otherwise.

But, the unc decided to word their letter that they were 'higher at polls'. *stupid*

At the end of the day, sub $40 oil price, an undiversifed economy, and a generation of persons accustomed to free ting and little work, we have bigger problems to prepare for.

Already started self sustainable living.

That "petition" by the UNC (or is it by Kamla only?) was very unfortunate and should never have been released.

UNC may have the openly racist and very disgusting supporters but on reading facebook pages like the one run by former PNM senator Tina Grolund Nunez clearly PNM has the closeted but equally disgusting racists.

The only positive so far in the past two days has been the decorum and magnanimity of Dr Rowley which is clearly in stark contrast to a large portion of the red and ready crew.
What was the problem with Calder Hart again? His name tends to be a lightening rod for corruption but unlike UNC executives, there are no legal accusations or convictions of corruption against him.

EOC found the culture scholarships devoid of bias so again it is a moot point.

UNC had 5 years 3 months to corroborate the accusations they placed in 2010 and they failed. PNM now should not engage in a witchhunt but LifeSport, Adolphus Daniel, SIS and other accusations PNM made, it is their imperative to prosecute those ppl.

so, i propose that the EBC re-open the polls for another day to allow those who did not vote to do so...fair enough? LOL

That sounds like tripe. Firstly the UNC will have too prove how that's shows she was winning. Even if by registration number, they could check it, no court in the world is going to violate people's right to a SECRET ballot. Then they will have to prove how they got that data, and why at half past five, the party was sending out realeses encouragimg their supporters to vote. Did they have an insider in the ebc, which then makes their participation in the election quesyionable. I think somebody is setting her up to send her to the political grave

This is exactly why I made it a point to highlight that cross section of names who suddenly went SILENT post 2010.

Y'all need to stop making it seem as if kamala is some innocent puppy lost in the street. She's fully aware of what is taking place.

No one has to set her up with anything. She's very capable of handling herself.

How long does it take the EBC to release official results?

Go ahead and live with the "no one got charged no crime was committed theory" if that makes you sleep better at night.

I just hope you and RASC and all other PNM tuners don't break your neck falling off the moral high horse in a few years time when the vultures under Dr. Rowley start mocking up.

Last time took them a week the release final results.

But I find they should at least have a preliminary results page on the EBC website like every other country.

it would prevent all these UNC accusing the EBC of fixing the vote.

I hope to dispassionately criticise this govt, I am no blind support. However I see no greater merit in being a fence sitter. Even in my criticism of Kamla was not on corruption but her governance style and handling of the economy. I don't expect PM Rowley to be prefect but I am not going to the typical Trinidadian cynic saying "all is bad, we are the worst, them other there in North America and Europe are better."

But what of those who do think that Corruption, Clientelism and Capture are the greatest problems of T&T which ultimately leads to other problems such as crime, lower economic performance and non delivery of essential government services?
As such the fence sitter who view these as the main problems would have serious issues when they start to pop back up again.

Any attempts to divide the population on the issue of race is condemned in the strongest manner”.
That’s according to outgoing Communications Minister Vasant Bharath concerning racist comments being circulated on social media following the People’s National Movement’s (PNM) 23-18 victory at Monday’s polls.
He said citizens should instead be an example to the world, of how a nation with people of different background, ethnicities and religious persuasions act and live in harmony.
Bharath added that citizens should do nothing to alter that perception and balance.

http://www.looptt.com/content/bharath-c ... k-comments

Vasant going to end up leading the break away UNC faction. He's the only one not jumping on the victim bandwagon.

I think a major problem in T&T is that ppl see these problems having their genesis and solution only in the govt and don't hold personal responsibility to those individuals who commit these wrongs with no consideration of political affiliation.

^ Not too stick on this point too much and beat it like a dead horse can't it be argued that should the Government lead by example the rest will follow?
For example I have heard many a business man and even some men on tuner here exclaim why should they pay more taxes when Government just going to waste it. Maybe a less corrupt Government will be able to foster less corrupt citizenry?

However this is all conjecture as we do not really know the mindset of Trinidadians and how they would behave in varying degrees of circumstances.

However with that said I do hope Rowley and Al Rawi in the first instance makes a difference because I truly do believe the country needs it at this time. (Also for the first time ever in my household, of the 5 potential votes PNM was able to get 2 including my mother and I would not like for her to be not be as dissapointed as she was in KPB)
