Trinidad and Tobago's largest cable television provider, Flow, yesterday pleaded for patience from thousands of customers who have demanded answers over the looming removal of several channels from its line-up.

The company has however made it clear there will be no rebates to customers or reductions in their monthly bills because of the removal of the channels.

So I still cannot access youtube or google on my flow connection but everything else works fine. I tried connecting the wired modem direct to my PC and removing the router and same thing. Amazingly flow has no idea how to solve this problem this is what they wrote me and said.

Flow Trinidad and Tobago Hi customer. It could be that the sites are having updates done. The fact that you are able to access other sites means that your service is working just fine.

So how the ass youtube and google.com are having updates done since Sunday then? these people for real? I am sure everybody else in the world can access these 2 sites. Today is Tuesday and these people are telling me that these 2 sites are having updates done since Sunday? WTF

And I can't switch back on TSTT because they cannot stream any videos above 144p, the only other choice now is Digicel.

I am using bing as my new search Engine because FLOW banned me from google.com and well as for youtube I cannot access it so thats that. I could use daily motion but most stuff is not on that site.

Well i can find streams for every channel they are removing, just have to find a working bbc america stream & its bye bye flow. When people start dropping them in droves lets see what will happen when they loose major revenue, won't put it past them to increase internet package prices to compensate though.

I am using custom firmware DDWRT on my linksys router.

I however updated the firmware yesterday just to see if it solves the issue but nothing. I also tried plugging my ethernet cable direct into the flow wired modem.

It is possible something might be wrong with this modem.

I am going to try using DNS ublocker as you say, lets see if this might solve the issue.

I am going to boot into my windows 10 SSD and see if anything changes aswell.

^ I tried using google DNS, Open DNS, automatic flow dns. Nothing works

I also tried connecting the RJ 45 ethernet cable direct from the PC to the flow modem, the modem I have is wired so there is nothing to change. So I guess thats that? Wait for Digicel to come now and then cancel FLOW?

Another thing to note now pictures wont load in facebook and trinituner gives a lot of problems to load, the problem has now moved onto other websites. Youtube and google will work but only sometimes like 4 minutes out of every hour.

Only thing left to do is hope for Digicel to announce residential package, the last hope is Digicel.

^ did that and nothing was fixed. I even had an actual real network Engineer check everything for me, he said the issue is either FLOW or the Modem.

Gonna request a technician to come check me yes.

Funny thing Gmail is the only google site that works fine.

Google.com and youtube.com however works only 3% of the time.

I also reset this modem like 10 times already. Used direct cable to PC and bypass the router and same sheit. Also used the direct modem to PC cable on windows 10 and windows 7 both has ESET smart security installed so I am sure there are no viruses etc

I have been having the exact same problem since yesterday. My son called flow and they started telling him about the papackage that we have that may be too slow for the number of devices that we use. The thing is we have been using the same package with the same devices for years with no issue.

I called again today and some freaking idiot started to tell me about my package and my router and everything under the sun. I also noticed however that I'm getting a similar problem but not as bad using my data package on my phone. So I was thinking that it may have been a problem with the site.

I am awaiting a flow techie to call me back in 24-48 hrs to confirm whether its a flow prob or not

Having the same problem here in Caroni area. Google and Youtube are not working but Gmail loads fine. Tried changing dns settings, different devices, firewall settings and nothing works.

people who having issues connecting to youtube and google:

1. are your devices getting a personal IP address from your router or are u getting a flow IP address on ur devices?

2. all connected devices having the same issue? PC, phone, tablet etc?

3. do u have any software related to PeerGuardian or Zone Alarm installed?

4. when the page fails to load....whats the URL in the browser? (after it fails)

5. can you ping these websites?..if not, run the 'tracert youtube.com' command and post the results

6. do you have an external network time source or manually adjusted the time on your devices recently?

Call flow and ask if they throttling you
They tend to do that to people who use torrents and download a lot constantly
When I disconnected my service with them the guy was begging me to stay and that he will put me on some VIP list but honestly FLOW is total crap for gaming
I gave up on Flow this year fed-up of they crappy internet service
League of Legends, Smite, FIFA, PSN, Xbox live all run like sheit
Digicel Fibre and Blink pumping good these days no problems at all
Cant wait to experience TSTT GPON in maraval later this year

1. I connected the RJ45 direct to my flow wired modem so we know 100% sure the router is not the issue.

2. Yes all connected devices phone, tablet same thing

3. NO I have no software installed and even then it does not explain how the tablet and phone having same issues I already contacted FLOW about it and I need help in forming an internet army to spam Flow's facebook page about this till they acknowledge. I even fixed a customer's laptop today and I connected the line direct to the modem on a fresh new windows 7 install and same issue.

Thus far FLOW has told me that the issue we are having is because google and youtube is doing updates. I conclude this was a retarded response for an ISP who supposedly ask for basic CXC passes when hiring people.

4. When the page fails to load? most times it sticks on loading forever if it does fail to load its the same URL address.

5. These websites cannot be pinged when its giving problems to load but when it loads 3% of the time it pings just fine. So go figure.

6. Never adjusted anything this issue started happening Sunday and flow insists the issue is with google they say that google is updating their website and doing patches, I told them this was the most retarded response I have ever gotten from any sane person.

Not sure if they blocked me on facebook after that but whatever I will create a new account and start spamming them to do something. Thus far more people are posting this exact same issue I am having more and more its clear this is a issue with FLOW. But FLOW says we are to blame or google is to blame. I disagree since my neighbor has TSTT and her internet works just fine with youtube and google.

Did you try taking your devices to another area that has Flow and check? Like a Flow hotspot.

Call Flow, disconnect your modem and tell them it not working. So when they check the MAC address they can see it's not registering on their system. They will run you through a script that all CSRs must do and and just go along with them and say you doing it but it still not working. Keep the modem d/c. Hopefully they will send a tech and maybe the man will do something if you explain the problem. They probably configured that modem wrong.
