where else have you eaten sushi before?

For me, I like Luce at Hilton, Sushi Bar at Hyatt, Kaizan at MovieTowne, Samurai at One Woodbrook Place and More Vino both Ariapita and San Fernando.

Haven't had samurai or mor sushi yet
I rate luce kaizan and Hyatt tho. I have an issue with buying sushi express just because of the concept and name

Yep ^, I have first hand knowledge of the ingredient sources and prep, chef Josh from vino. He creates very nice flavour profiles with unusual roe and proteins like unagi.

I'd say either Luce at Hilton or Hyatt's sushi bar has the tastiest I've tried. Eurasia has reasonable priced rolls and good quality but service is horrible. Samurai needs to stop offering sushi altogether, it better at the start but it slowly deteriorated. More vino is decent.

Bigger question is, what's the big deal over sushi, I'll take cooked fish over seasoned rice any day lol.

I kinda agree too, sushi is an "in thing"
I eat sushi but don't understand the current rave about it,
you hear a lot of chicks saying "I love sushi" etc

the only explanation really is the eating experience just like kids like to eat pizza

Starlite Drugs Sushi is excellent... just mind the soy sauce laced with pepper (as in pieces of pepper...not the sauce)..

Samurai at One Woodbrook Place and More Vino both Ariapita and San Fernando is also good. Port Restuarant (when they were open) also did some nice pieces... pity they closed down

Theres one in Trincity Mall.... meh and bleh.

The chefs at Samurai were the ones working at Levels. Say what yall want...Levels made some great sushi....

I would say Mor Vino south for the best Sushi, haveing tried Hyatt, North Vino and a couple others.

It also depends on what you like. Most people who say " I love Sushi" like generic rolls with rice mostly. And most places have similar tastes and rolls. I find the real skill is the preparation os sashimi and variety of this. The sashimi platter in South Vino is really good.

More Vino both north and south but Hyatt is great as well.
Luce & sakura arts good (former more vino staff*) to my knowledge dont know if changed
Starlite(former more vino staff)
PORT (former more vino staff)
Kaizen is okay .

Just my opinion

All Out in the Oval have some nice Sushi..Its only on certain days of the week and I think its from an outside provider though.
Apart from them I rate More Vino and Kaizan as the best options.
