honda civic ek4 sir

Postby JesuEric » April 17th, 2015, 7:19 am

Fellas I convert from nissan to honda

Bought a local sir with a b16a5 automatic

Pulls amazing but its very stock 195 width tyres on 15s etc suspension in tact no pulls or noises

But idk if the primera was just that good in handling or the civic is tht poor but I feel like I gonna die each time I corner hard
Dat being said I stop driving the car hard
Buh I wanna know what suspension upgrades can I do? Brakes is amazing as well 4 wheel disks sloted front rotors

195 tyres n cornering hard don't mix. Cornering hard with a civic stock height don't mix. If u really want to corner hard u need to bring that center of gravity lower bro and get some broader tyres. Energy suspension will be a big plus 2. But other than that the car is naturally very light so at high speed it turns like a paper jet. So u hada know hw to approach ur corners cuz I telling u 1 mistake and ur back will throw u off big time ... but switching from nissan to honda is the bess decision u ever made.

Good advice here.
But M@nnie i have Proxes 195 on a stock ek3 and cornering isnt that bad as compared to my nze with 195 (chinee brand).
I wud add d brand of tyre has alot to do with it as well. Also if u jave f/used snow tyres u cud skid faster as these tyres are harder based rubber than other tyres.

Yea the type of tyres have a part to play as well. But lowering reduces excessive body roll. And besides ur cornering hard and mines may be too different cornering hard. I will never keep my civic stock height it dont maneuver how I want it to.

Update: I bought new shocks and tien springs , it helped a bit I checked some tyre stores but the tyres they had in terms of brand for the 205 and 215s I wasn't impressed with so he said check back Wednesday also the front has two snow tyres apparently-_-
