No... It's a bb10 specific plan.
Bmobile set up their servers like that, except the rest of the world has it like a regular data plan

Called bmobile and the apn name they gave me not working. They told me to put blackberry.net10 as apn. Nothing for username or password.

I ear go lie, Blackberry chargers, specifically for the playbook are awesome for charging my nexus 5. I got the car charger and the wall charger and both pump out over 1.5A to the device. In just over an hour my nexus 5 can charge from 10% to 100%.

You're even lucky to be able to edit the APN. BB10 i had, the APN setting was locked from being editable on both networks.

careful, charging your nexus 5 too fast will destroy the lifespan of the battery.

Don't use blackberry charger or anything on your precious android phone

^there is an entire thread on it on xda buddy. That's where I discovered it in the first place. Also the device doesn't take 1.8 consistently. At intervals it steps down to 1.4 and down to 0.8A as low as 0.3A as it nears 100%.

they always go down often but this was the one for the charger
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00KFQXWRC/
note the model no. and search it.
and the car charger:
http://www.amazon.com/BlackBerry-Micro- ... 00D8YYKD8/
again note the model no.

Also they're device dependent. I got similar results on a G2 but not on a sony xperia z1

personally speaking since my Nexus 4 has non removable battery I intend for it to last 6 years.

So I does actually use the USB cable from the PC USB port for the slowest charging possible. And I also try for the battery not to go below 50 percent. lol

A relative has a bb10 phone. Does she need a bb10 specific data plan or can the regular 4g plan work? this is bmobile. she doesnt care about bbm, more for whatsapp.

As far a I know bmobile has removed the lock in the apn for bb10 devices so she can take a normal android plan and use the bconnected apn for prepaid or internet for postpaid

BlackBerry10 data plan.
I have the Q10.

I would like to know if it's possible to use something cheaper. I have the cheapest bb10 package and it's abt $316/mth.

AFaik all the bb10 devices I have tested currently you can edit the apn on it, and use bconnected in prepaid and internet as the apn in postpaid and I actually took a normal android plan and it worked so you can do that guys. You should get a message that the apn couldn't be verified I will post up some screenshots monday.

Is the same true for digicel?
