Jeremy Wade would be interested in that catch, he didn't get any nearly as big, This one looks like it can swallow a couple children well.

boatman have a spot off brickfield he carries us...about 20 - 30 mins off the river. don't know the exact location. he has two banks he usually fishes off there and always catches, one holding plenty red fish and one holding plenty cro cro. would ask him the exact name or location next time.

Go with food and coffeee, wake whole night and wait for the bait. Ensue to flip out when you see the cavalli and tarpon start smashing bait 20 feet in front of you. it's a timing thing, same thing with the snappers. They will pass in bands, half hour of nice fish and that's it and wait for the next bus load to pass lol.

Massive guys, 6-15 is a norm, father caught a 22lber last year in a trickier spot. They run into the open, the tarpon will faster run into the pilings if is not a small one that only trying to shake the hook.
You'll see the big guys run in bands of 3-5 really late around 2-3 in the morning.

Same spot blue ice pic shows, salt factory, right before the docks. That's where them pirogues does pick up and drop off the offshore workers.

correct, that is not jacks, is plato. Not very good for bait, but I think some people fry them down dry and eat them.

kind of opposite UTT in Chaguaramas, I think is First Avenue South. Doesn't have much fishing room but the water is deeper than the surrounding areas.

The line snapped as fast as it hit tho :/

Search bumper that's the American name.... Not good inshore bait at all
Kings do take them on the north tho
They have sharp fins that turn off most preditory fish
