Also seat height adjustment will be important for u. I'm not sure if the driver seat is standard across all models of the CY lancer. Check for it physically next time u visit the dealership

Yh... 6'-6". But im pretty sure I'd have problems if it didn't have the height adjustment in the seat. It makes a big difference.

Another question...I know it's minor but, can one install an arm rest in the basic models? TBH I'm dumbfounded by the fact that this car doesn't have a hand rest, despite it being basic...

Yeah, there's also this deal which peaked my interest and with some persistence I might be able to beat it down to ~150. My first year insurance gonna be sky high so I'll save if I go with this (1 yr free insurance).

I think I'd prefer going showroom though but after seeing that one in person, I'll know for sure.

Also checked out the Mazda 3 and damn it's a sweet ride but this is gonna be my first vehicle so I don't wanna spend too much. They're going for 185 basic and 210 fully loaded. Both are the 1.6 4 speed and from what I've read and seen in reviews, they lack power. I don't think they'll be good on resale either.

I bought my lancer from dm in pos in december. No regrets bro. I fill up once a week and drive only with ac. I bought the GLS ( fully loaded) the model with the rear camera. The basic does have a totslly different feel. From the interior perspective it lacks the automatic climate control, all the chrome and shinny black finishings and the touch screen radio. Also the seats feel different. But dispite all that lancers serve well once tsken cared of.

Yeah the GLS definitely looks and feels more premium and 'meaty'. They still have the InOne package but not sure what that price would be with it for the GLS.

You use super or premium?

I only use premium from unipet and diamond motors told me to use amsoil every 2000km. The fuel it comes with from the showroom lasted for about 2weeks. Fuel consumption is dependant on your driving habits. I dont drive free spirited. The cost of the GLS was 196k, but they have a limited edition GLX also i believe it was 170. It was the basic model with all the flares on it. I dont know what additional it carried on the inside.

I went and checked out the GLS today and fell totally in love with it. In my current position though, it won't be the most feasible thing to get. I'm going with the basic and I'll source aftermarket upgrades afterwards.

I've never really checked Carmax before. I don't wanna take any risks considering what Insanity said. I'm now seeing this one on trinicarsforsale but I'm not sure if it's still available.

Curious - does Carmax offer a warranty on their vehicles?

Seeing as they are "Certified" pre-owned, I'm guessing they do?

Had any luck yet? Seems very difficult to source. I spoke to the rep in DM and even he said that it's very difficult to source. He said to check Bamboo though so maybe I'll check there once I get my ride.

Can anyone give feedback on this item? I read one review on Amazon where the client said that it didn't fit properly and they had some installation issues.

Jus a few days ago. Saw a GT looking EX. the side skirts and front bumper looked sketchy. Or the installer jus did a poor job.

After I sold the 1.5 CY I checked out 10 GT's by cmax all had poorly done body repairs trims were missing and the cars felt exactly what they were "rentals". I really wanted a GT so I went new.

Anything you want to do with your CY you can find it at .... Rainbow Pen search them on Facebook.
