Is it possible to get a Prepaid 'special requested' number from Digicel?
(just for example purpose).... 383-3000
And what is the procedure/price etc.

Can't have to be post paid

the 18 month contract is about to expire.....what happens then...do I need to renegotiate a new contract or does it just continue?

are there any upgrade handset options in Digicel trinidad

It just continues, you will be in a better position as you no longer under contract so you can change carriers without the hassle

You can also purchase a new handset at the post paid price with six months good paying history.

Just go to any digicel branch and provide proof of purchase along with two forms of ID I believe and not sure if you need the PUK.

Which department is responsible for low signal and dropped calls? As of the last time they did upgrades it seems one of the towers in my area faulting. Anytime my phone connects it goes to one bar etc. and causes a lot of issues.

I'm on the Smartplan Silver. Minutes roll over and SMS is to any carrier. Works good thus far. It's about $343 per month. Never had to go over that limit and it's 600mins and 600sms. Only thing I noticed is that I don't think minutes are billed per second but it's per minute. I will have to confirm. Also there is free social data and 3GB of data. Initially, it is 6GB for 3 months I think. Also, be sure to check if you are eligible for a free phone. I got a free lumia 520 when I activated my plan.

Yup this is my current plan. Another good option regarding Digicel Corporate plans is the 1 rate Roaming plan, you pay $99TT+vat (free incoming calls and $1TT VI everything else).
