Postby knight » January 8th, 2015, 1:01 pm

HI anyone experiencing their lancer cedia CS2a being sluggish on inclines and drives really horrible going up maracas? Let me know what you have done to solve this problem. On flat road it runs good.

which engine do you have, 4g15 or 4g18?

The car is known for being sluggish on hills with the 4g15 SOHC being much more sluggish than the 4g18.

Go up the hill with the AC off, it may help a bit.

not sure if it may be a clogged in-tank fuel filter.

there are three main reasons for sluggish activity at high rpm (non misfire related ) dirty mass air flow.......fuel delivery problems........clogged exhaust

this could be an indication that your transmission is failing. loss of power means that the transmission is losing pressure due to faulty solenoids or hydraulic pump or if its the cvt type the belt is worn or wearing out
