WTK: Music-Basic System

Postby westsidestarz » December 12th, 2014, 11:34 am

Hey guys, I have a RORO vehicle without the speakers in the backdash and don't wanna drill nothing for speakers. I have four door speakers though, and want something a little more, some bass and a little noise. Like a basic system. Is is possible to work with something like that without putting speakers on the dash? If so, please recommend something and who can install, give me a price.
Thanks a lot in advance

You might have much more luck in the ICE forum with this kind of post.

I have only front door speakers and it is clean as f**k. A lot of people have said its the best system they have heard ever and im no match for some of the guys in here.

Got a budget and what you have to work with so far?

Would love to know what speakers indeed, I'd love to upgrade from my stock NZE speakers but not to do a lot of add ins, so changing front door speakers alone sound ideal.

I have a pair of CDT component speakers in my pick up truck. They are run active off an alpine pdx amplifier and the doors are dampened with second skin damplifier pro.

In my other ride I had jbl 608 gti mkii and hybrid audio L1v1 and I liked the sound if them much more.

All I have is 300 watts powering a 10" in a sealed enclosure for bass in the truck.

I think a pal of mine put a pair of memphis 6.5 in his fielder and says they sound very good. Cost under $500.00 for the pair and he has a log of years of experience with car audio and has experience with many brands.

Provided one has a budget and states what one has it will be easy to make recommendations from there.

And it provides adequate bass?

Also what are the dimensions of the enclosure wrecker?

want to go as minimal as possible when i get back my weekend driver.

That should answer most questions.

Bass is great.

Mind you, to the averahe Joe its super. To some of the experienced guys in the ice forum, their systems are miles ahead. Some cost a pretty penny too, mine came up under $5k

Have a soundstream 5 channel amp that would be perfect for door speakers and a sub in the trunk....

Got focal components in my van off the stock HU and they are very clean. Eventually I'll install an Alpine 148BT and expose their true potential.
