I had some contacts in mafeking, I believe it was only mafeking that had water, and another section further on down. But mafeking section was the one that took a while for the water to go down. once you reach rio things were ok after that.

Guaya> Moruga> San Fernando

Sometimes the guards have been real cool, sometimes they're arsenanny's.

Rig 20 was down there the other day.. flashing an old ws badge and coveralls was all it took

Only problem is getting past the petrotrin security and then hoping there are no fallen trees along the way. It's a lonely road but around 4pm you might find a few other vehicles passing through there. I haven't been in over a year and back then it was pretty terrible.

yeah most times they ok, especially if you coming from the guaya side, other than that the BG pass / bp pass works to get into the guaya side, the BG pass works easier from the moruga side

lost to all, it should be passable with the wagon, never encountered anything major on that road; just make sure you telling them you heading out on the other side else they will keep you logged as entering

Well the first shower for the day has just started in Mc Bean,Couva.
Sky overhead is complete cloud canopy, the ground is very saturated.
Rainy season overall has been quite mild but these intense sessions of heavy rains can really do some long term damage.
.....WOW this one has a wicked wind!

would advise against the trinity rd - some parts of the road could be under water, its lonely and cell phone coverage is iffy switching from better service between the carriers at different parts....

try a road trip in dry weather - know your country kinda vibes...

[TRAFFIC ALERT] Members of the T&T Fire Service are asking motorist on the west bound lane of the Beetham Highway in the vicinity of the Central Market (Sea Lots) to be cautious following a major diesel spill coupled with heavy rain in the area.
