law about rollcage???

Is there any law pertaining to roll cage in a daily driven car??

Aren't those things dangerous if you are not wearing a helmet. Think they can cause some serous head injury.

it can, but personally i rather be strapped in with a roll cage and harness bar with necessary seats and belts in a cifero doing 500hp

no their is no law stopping you from doing it, their are a few cars that i know personally passed the inspection in pos lic. and the officers liked the idea.

ok kool....kw the police like to give tickets and seize cars...so just making sure the car will still b road worthy in their eyes.... although its a great safety measure....

Nope no law for roll cages, Just dont go about messing around the chassis number area.
I had a car inspected over the pit a few years ago that had a 6 point roll cage and had no problem.
Plus rally cars that drive around as daily cars and no problem .
Some pickups pose with roll bars on their trays and they have no problem, these are inspected every year with no problem.

I saw the yellow bluebird with the black bonnet and fenders today in a garage in south. Guy said they take out the roll cage bcuz it illegal:-?

I always wondered about an external roll cage.. but I doubt i'll get away with that one..

external cages are not illegal......there are a few vehicles around with them.....

also like zoom rader said, there are rally cars that are used on the road and they are legal.
