You should get it around 3800 USD from an AD in the islands. It will be more expensive in Europe (3300 Euro) or USA (typically full price 4200 USD).

Be sure you know what you getting into, the authentic moon watch is manual wind only, and plastic crystal.

yea i know its manual wind, which is not a big deal to me....
the original one which went to the moon is plastic crystal and stainless backed....however another version has a Sapphire crystal on the front and back, which shows the movement and not easily scratched like the more authentic moon watch....
i don't know.......still considering it....maybe, maybe not....

A good watch will outlast a car once it's serviced and go up in value. Cars go down in value and you always have to pay insurance.
Top watches are brought for investments.

Have it serviced professionally by Tag if it is a mechanical/auto watch, no need to buy another unless you got a collection.

Very nice.

Anyone has experience with ESQ by Movado? Considering getting one as an everyday piece.

Anybody ever order thru overstock.com and ship it directly to Trinidad?
I'm seeing the additional cost to ship to TnT is TT$90 (vs shipping to the US) and the estimated delivery date is just a day later. That includes duty and tax.
Should I ship to Trinidad or are they likely to deliver way after the estimated delivery date?

This is an excellent watch for the money, my wife got me one of these and it is fantastic. Sapphire crystal, fairly decent lume, WR 100m.
Probably the weakest link is the strap, which I would never take in the water.

It depends on the watch, not every swiss auto watch will go up in value. For instance a manual wind Rhonda movement Omega will hold its value and go up, whereas an auto version may not. It depends on supply and demand. Rarety, marketing, history, pedigree etc comes into play.

Do your research before you buy in this way. Other than that, just buy what you really like, and forget about what it's worth if you sell it (as you probably won't want to sell ever).

Thinking about getting this

This is the Rotonde De Cartier Mysterious Double Tourbillon Watch from Cartier.
According to the salesman only 10 of these were made.

the white Bengal tiger Cartier Double Tourbillon d'Art with black leather strap is umm....

$270,000 USD.

before sales tax.

yeahhh.......hmm.....

the tourbillon itself is quite costly; good ones have always been very difficult to manufacture but the rest is a show of unique jewels. Unless you're a Rockefeller who occasionally has $1M a plate dinner charities, or Bruce Wayne (who wears Jaeger Lecoultre) what's the point of toting this around on your hand?
