Twice this morning alone while i am taking my time and going through some slightly flooded roadways which my car can handle some fool would fly through the flood water with his 4x4 and cover my car with dirty flood water from the hood straight down and the water they displace splashes up inside my engine room and with my cold air intake the engine would suck in some water and cut off.![]()

Blinding rainfall and splashes rendered windshield wipers almost useless. The speed of the vehicle would dictate the amount of splash. Sedans , Vans , Trucks all generated splashes that would cover most of a vehicle . Solution relax drive , you'd also be making big splashes .
The quantum of water would be almost 10-15 gallons of water sheeting your bonnet and windshield.
