push button toilets

So i made a foolish decision and installed these push button toilets (obtained from T&Z).

they are a pain in the arse 6 months on and getting replacement parts from T&Z or any other hardware is proving nigh impossible.

The look basically like this:



question:

does anyone know where i can get a replacement flush mechanism locally. something like this

i would change to the old fashion flush mechanism but the tank does not have a front face hole for the lever.

suggestions/advice welcomed.

Yep, ppl seem to think push button better.

Chck terrylove forums, see if another brand can fit the tank.

We installed a toto drake earlier this yeah,
Real high performance flush whilst using simple flapper.

I find dem flappers does start to leak...I have two euro push-button thingies, a duravit and a mirabelle.............the duravit dumps the whole tank of water one time...not bad...the mirabelle sprays two feeble jets from the back and two from the front, and basically swirls the sheet over and over and sometimes I have to flush thrice to get everything down...it looks very trendy but is the worst flushing system I have ever seen

u should see how this things work.... they dumb out all the water with no force and spins everything round... fail

^ do not put the chlorine cleaning tablets with the push button

The chlorine destroys the rubber flapper/ seal

I have an Arrow press button I bought in Ali's Hardware going in 3 years and no problem so far... But is it decide to play up they have all the parts available

I have 2 Twyford push button toilets, both have two settings, a smaller button within the larger one that uses less water (for like urine etc) and a full flush, works excellent and parts are readily available

Suggestion,trow that piece of sheit away and buy a normal set for 500 dollars opie.

T&Z doesnt seem to have replacement parts for anything they sell.......
I have two toilets to repair which I bought from them less than a year ago.....
quality seem poor.....

op...save yourself the trouble.....and water.....lol....
