double piston brakes on an ae91

lookin to put levin double piston calipers an rotors on an ae91 but d caliper bracket touchin d rotor. any advise on if this cud be rectified or it nt possible.tanks

Sounds like u have the wrong rotor installed. Could be as simple as using the Levin spindles complete ( if you cab find them) but don't try to fit it on the stock spindle as it touches. Could maybe try a 101 spindle with the Levin caliper as well as 101 rotors. I have complete 101 spindle on my ae91

Because the caliper is bigger you need to put a wheel spacer I think about 6mm behind the rotor to center it; if that's where it touching

update: caliper bracket was shaved but 2much an ended up exposing caliper pin slot. need to get a replacement bracket nw. work on hold but was sugeested to shave som of d circumference of the rotor. its d circumference of d rotor dat is touchin d bracket. until i find a bracket work is on hold. tanks for d responses.

yes the rotor needs to be reduced to fit, also check back the link i sent. also shows where SHUD hav been ground on the bracket

wel dat part was already ground but instead of reducing the rotor d mech thought shaving d bracket a little would hv worked but ended up damaging d bracket so everyting off until a next bracket is found an so far cant find one. tanks for d info
