Reuben's Forester was painted, not wrapped...

and where cost factor is concerned, painting will certainly cost cheaper than wrapping.
Labour is where the cost comes in...

Once you use a basecoat black system, and Matte Clear Coat.. you'll get the desired finish, and it stands up very long and it's durable once the correct clear is used.

We've even used the matte clear on Candy, Pearlescent and Chameleon systems and it looked sweet.

its anything but a 4 min job.....

dese jobs require a day or two for a good install....
definitly cheaper in a sense to paint but some are willing to go d extra mile to do a wrap as it has its advantages.....

Thats why make sure you are buying a good/reputable product and look out for imitations .If you use a good quality wrap, not only is it is easier to apply and looks better but also less of a headache to remove. The 3M stuff is good but dont know if available locally.

BTW if doing it yourself please remember that there is a correction direction to apply most films...seen a unhappy man with a Maserati recently as the fella that wrapped the car didnt realise this and the Matt White looked differnent on each panel as a result.

After using 3M wraps on a much smaller scale (phones) and one time trying the fake CF, I can say it's much easier to clean and remove than the fake. Also the 3M adheres for a longer period too.

men killing that matte metallic blue down here now tho.
and yes quality material makes all the difference. Also the methods used when wrapping difficult areas like bumpers, mirrors etc.
