Wife had a 08/09 Suzuki Swift 1.5 AT fully loaded from the firm. Never had any issues whatsoever, normal maintenance and only once had to replace shock absorbers in 5 years (approx 80K kms) and a wheel bearing went bad, that the firm had in stock. Replaced tyres once in the 5 years too.
Excellent fuel consumption - <100 to full super and about 400-500 kms/tank with moderate to conservative driving.

Most parts were easily obtainable, normal consumables (oil, filters etc) we used good quality substitutes.

No defects noted, except a little more road noise in the cabin compared to other sedans. This was attributed to less sound dampening than other fullsized sedans. Even the 1500 AT was very nimble and handling was very predictable on stock wheels.

Not a bad car at all. Very fun to drive.

March ugly inside/out. The Swift better as they mostly 1.5 auto whereas the March is mostly 1.2 auto. How about this below?

the K12 march is a pretty basic car. basic functions basic features....interior could do with a proper styling though..seats are rubbish..not comfortable at all. dash is also simplistic..could swap the cluster with the manual cluster if it could work...wiring wise! and no temp gauge - only a light

any car is reliable -one you maintain it properly

parts wise on the K12 - haven't had to buy anything for it as yet.

fuel consumption..cant say..will have to ask the old man..

5 manufacture defects -

a. IDPM- it fails on some cars - may fail on this *crosses fingers
b. they installed the front lower sway bar from factory - they could have installed the front upper brace as well.
c. it came with a single core rad - could have at lease put in a two core radiator

What about a NOTE, Nismo edition of course.
Almost as if a Tiida, Swift and Corolla had a night of passion together.

Massy won't carry this model but OP could buy a Note and make the necessary changes.
