THE ULTIMATE LEGO BATMOBILE SET

Christopher Nolan's take on the Batmobile – The Tumbler – will be recreated in a new 1800+ piece LEGO set, coming this September.

The set which will be on display at Comic-Con later this week is based on Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy.

It consists of 1,869 pieces, to be exact, and will have a retail price of $199. It's the second time the Batmobile has appeared as part of LEGO's Ultimate Collectors' series (the previous entry – 7784 Batmobile – was just 1045 pieces in comparison).

Finally started putting this project together...
Image

Only problem now is that these 6ft tables arent as perfect as i need them to be. They arent lining up level and it seems one has a bit of a sag in the middle.

Image

Any creative ideas here? propping the the tables from below the legs isnt quite working. I was thinking bout using 1/2" mdf sheets on top of the tables. :?:

^ FANTASTIC!!!

best thing would be to build your own base for the town out of 2x4 frames, legs and ply.

also add some trees on greens plates in the empty areas

MDF to me sounds like a good idea....with some 2x4 strips under them.

thats some really nice work there.....maybe u can cover the wooden base with tight fabric....blue and green if u want a grass / water effect on the edges...

I wanna start building my own setup but time is a problem :( i even have my real Bonsai tree for the middle of town

Maybe later on, right now i need to get this table issue sorted and then get things laid out properly.
Now that im putting the sets down side by side im getting a sense of the scale of these things.....this project is gonna take up real space

If you planning to add lights it would be a lot easier to make tables to run the wires under unless you plan to drill holes through the plastic tables
