Info needed b11 hydraulic clutch setup

Postby turboconch2 » July 3rd, 2014, 7:14 am

Hey guys, anybody ever did a hydraulic clutch setup in a b11 sunny. I'm currently using cable setup on a b13 cable gearbox and wanna switch it to hydraulic. Stock clutch feels stiff already and I want to change the clutch and pressure plate to a stage 1 street. Anybody have experience with this please advise thanks.

Isn't the qg gearboxes hydraulic?

If yes then you can swap over the slave cylinder.
Well that's if it would work.

but i have act hp pressure plate and act street and strip on my ga16 on my clutch softt, when the cable is inferior u have that stiff problem, see to get a good jap replacement, but if u wanna go hydro, then u may need to line up a cylinder that fits and drill hole on ur pedal for the clutch master cyliner rod

Kiran you may be on to something there as I changed the cable a few years ago after it burst, maybe it stretched. Thanks for the advice. I also upgraded the booster and mc to a b14 so I would have to see if I can fit something in the space. Thanks again everyone. But I will look into the qg setup

Fellas, I changed the cable yesterday to a Japanese replacement ,Kiran was right, the clutch pedal feels like a hydraulic setup now as its very soft. Now looking to upgrade the clutch. Kiran where you got you're setup? was looking at the act street and strip and pp.
