Re: Official E-Cig Discussion

Postby Sheriff » June 13th, 2014, 1:20 pm

As of lately I have notice the coils are not lasting as long, I bought 3 two weeks ago and they are all gone. Its seems as tho the wires inside the coil is either burning out or broken within the first couple days of use, also it floods as well.
I am looking for an better alternative than the Evod. Can someone recommend please.
Im having a real problem... I bought my EVOD about 6 months ago and its been great but for the past week it just shuts down (the coil)... The battery is working (although it fell a few times)... I changed coil a few days ago... Bought the Dekang liquid (juicy peach) and it worked for a day or two then after when i drag i get nothing.... I had another bottle of liquid (menthol)... I emptied the juicy peach and cleaned the clearomizer and filled the menthol and it start back working... But i get like half the normal vapour and the drag really dont make sense...

Could it be the liquid expired or something?!... I always keep it in a sock draw... but the pharmacy had it in a glass case (AC/lighting)...

Oh btw... I tried the new coil (juicy peach liquid) on another battery and still nothing... So i know its not my battery...
Having a problem similar to what -Roach- described...
Evod kit with tanks bought from Bhagan's. The first day or so the vapour is thick and great, by the second day its 1/2 or 1/4 the amount of vapor as the first day, by the night of the second day the coil stops working. Bought 2 more at the same location and got the same problem, tried a different type of tank from the same location, same problem. Bought another one from them, different tank again, this one works good but keep leaking over night , liquid coming up to the tip. Carried it back and exchanged it AGAIN, this time this one was leaking all over. Frustrated no a%$. Anyone know where i could buy a good tank/coil ? Really dont wanna start back smoking...

^ isn't that the guy that supplies bhagans? I know I have tried the cheapest stuff but that's all that I can find for sale in stores :s need to find someone with quality stuff. Don't mind paying as long as it not gonna give me headache like the rest of stuff I dealt with.

If anyone here using the e-cigarette to quit smoking, I'm suggesting u try champix. I was a heavy smoker for about 14yrs and I have tried everything on the market, patch, gum, e-cigarette and even some root thing I got from my uncle. Nothing works besides the champix trust me it's an amazing drug do your research. It's 2600tt for a 3 months supply in Starlite pharmacy in maraval opposite superpharm. A bit costly buy it's worth it :grin::grin:

Hello fans we were the first to introduce the innokin iclear16 clearomiser but now our competitors are selling it and we received complaints of product fault. So to avoid problems and mix up as to whom icelar16 was bought we will discontinue this product and promote our higher quality clearomiser as attached.

It seems innokin is using cheaper materials now and because of that we will not promote this , we believe in quality and will provide such. If you have any problem with vapour one products you can contact us 463-5292 and i will assist you to my best ability.

The evod is a cheaper make than the vmaxx 2 and as expected their clearomisers and failing terribly . We will be bringing a new line of Evod clearomisers soon.

Quoted for truth... The first evod kit i bought last year summer lasted me 8 months before the coil burned out... I recently bought a newer version of the evod and the coil only last me 2 weeks... Im very disappointed with this... Do you have any clearomizers that can screw up directly to an Evod Battery?... Im not wasting $45 on that anymore....

Bought a V-Maxx2 Friday, so far no complains. Previously had the Evod but had issues with leaking, coils burning out and not lasting.

http://www.foxnews.com/health/2014/06/12/fda-aims-to-develop-e-cigarette-standards-nicotine-policy/

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration is working to develop strong product standards for electronic cigarettes and other nicotine delivery devices that will protect public health and enable the agency to withstand legal challenges, its tobacco chief said on Wednesday.

Mitchell Zeller, director of the FDA's Center for Tobacco Products, said the agency is exploring potential product standards in the areas of addiction, toxicity and product appeal as it prepares to gain regulatory authority over electronic cigarettes and other nicotine-delivery devices.

The establishment of product standards is one of five priorities for the division over the next few years, Zeller said, outlining them publicly in the most comprehensive manner to date.

They include putting in place regulations for approving new products and monitoring them after they reach the market, ensuring that the agency has in place a strong compliance and law enforcement presence in every state, public education and the formulation of an FDA-wide nicotine policy that recognizes some products are less risky than others.

The agency is formulating product standards at a time when the benefits and risks of e-cigarettes remain the subject of intense debate.

"It's not the nicotine that kills half of all long-term smokers, its the delivery mechanism," he said at a lunch in Washington, D.C. organized by the American Legacy Foundation, an anti-tobacco group.

"We have to recognize some of these realities and figure out how they can impact regulatory policy.".

The 2009 Tobacco Control Act gives the FDA authority, as long as it has scientific evidence to support the policy, to ban or restrict ingredients and compounds in a particular product, though the agency will need to issue a new rule to act on its authority.

In April the FDA proposed rules that would ban the sale of e-cigarettes to people under the age of 18 and subject the $2 billion industry to federal regulation for the first time. The proposal would not restrict flavored products, online sales or advertising, disappointing public health advocates who argue they attract children.

Zeller said that while it is never a good thing for a young person to inhale nicotine, further research is needed to assess the net impact of e-cigarettes on the overall health of the population and that it is important to have "an open mind" about the potential benefits of emerging technologies.

"We share the concerns about the marketing of e-cigarettes to kids," he said, "We share the concerns that flavors certainly look like they would be appealing to kids; but let's not lose sight of the bigger picture here--tobacco use remains the leading cause of preventable death and disease principally because of the ongoing use of products that burn tobacco.

The FDA is also considering regulating menthol, but Zeller said he could not estimate how long it will take to formulate a proposal. The agency received 176,000 comments from the public on the matter.

"We are seriously considering all the comments as we consider our regulatory options," he said. "We can only go as far as the science will take us."

Tanks/Clearos usually have the same issue as the first set of ecig such as 510,401 ..ect don't expect it to last you forever some could even last 2-4 days days its honestly a risk taker.
This is why I'm more of a rebuild-able user purchase one device get some A1 kanthal wire and use cotton or silica. I find drippers are personally more better than a tank rebuild. Just order 100ft wire or so for $20 on ebay and you have more than enough. Soon as a coil is burnt you can pull out the cotton do a dry burn on the coil alone and replace a fresh cotton/silica (all disgusting taste come from burnt silica or cotton)
Not hating on local vendors but cleromizer are just a thing that will be stuck on consumers when its burnt or die out (cleros cannot be rebuilt), when i used to use cleros before i find myself buying 3-4 every month this however is to boost local business for suppliers since it cheap as for RBA/RDA you can control your spending since you don't need to purchase every single time.
So i advise many of you to buy a mech mod with a rba/rda but this is for mainly advance users tanks are for beginners.

Lets hope more rba/rda appear on the local market soon cause most are pretty cheap nowadays.

Are there any others that don't have a button to press?

Only bought the ismoka kit cuz it have no button.

The button on the battery or the coil? Anyone?

Considering checking someone to see if the coil from his can fit mine just now.

Its really risk as u said because I only bought 2 additional clearos since the 1st week in jan & I only bought a second one because the 1st died in less than 24hrs.
