WTK. After I washed my Mazda 3 engine the car starts up lazy. The battery is good since I bought it about 9 months ago and well everything work fine. Only when I try to start the car it tumbles then start. It's not the first time I wash my engine though and nothing happened before. Help please. My car starting like a Diesel engine

It could be the spark plugs water may have gotten into the plugs causing some corrosion.

need some advice....went to my car and stated it, started hearing a clicking noise, apparently my driver side folding mirror isn't opening or closing when I press the open/close switch and when I manually fold it out or in, the motor is still running making a clicking noise....the passenger side operates well.
any ideas for a DIY? otherwise I would have to carry it by an electrician...thanks

If you have the 1.6 the ecu is mounted on top of the valve cover, if this got wet you could be in for some headache.

Hi Guys, I need some help. Not sure what my problem is exactly. I have a 2005 RORO mazda 3; ac starting blowing cool in March so took it to Ultra Cool on Wrightson road. They gas it up and it was working fine. Two days ago it just switched from cold air to blowing hot. I took it back to Ultra Cool, they say there is no gas in it but they cannot find a leak. Now they want me to change the evaporator- $9775 (a 3 day job)....
Dunno what to do, need a 2nd opinion fast.

Get another opinion.
All they need to do is pressure test it and see where it's loosing gas. Could be as simple as a seal broke.

Pressure test will identify the leak.....HOWEVER!!!!!! Mazda really messed up the location of the evaportor in this car. The entire dashboard has to be removed to change it out. Get a second opinion on the problem, just in case.

Thanks Rainman, xNeXuSx for the responses. Just seeking your messages though. Took the car for a 2nd opinion in Freeport by Cool Access Air Auto, Bobby is his name. No pressure test was done but he used a uv light and said that no leaks were visible. He recommended changing the evaporator as well.
His cost though is $5K-$5.5K (depending on the final cost of the evaporator which he is sourcing).

Yup, same chemical composition as FL22 and will last just as long for a good price. I am using that right now.

this happened to me, but on my NZE, one reputable ac man said i have to change the dryer and regas...so i took it by someone else, he pressure tested it and he vacuumed the system and re-gased it, since that nothing to worry about, so try it before going back to those smart man AC men who just trying to make a dollar on people head

You do know you change the cabin filter/ ac filter every 30 to 40k(gotta check manual). If air blowing not blowing cool as it's use too it's likely the filter needs changing but wait long enough and you'll run into a lot of problems.

I thought it was BS until I saw my ac quality decreased and filter clogged. Since then it's perfect. It's much easier to change on the 2012. Gotta bleed brakes soon and awaiting on a pump kit from Amazon.
