Every six months that leaks...makes you wonder if they can't fix a pipe above ground what chaos is going on underground

^^^^ I swear on my street they repair the same spots every 4-6 months , do actually engineers need to work in wasa and when do they determine that entire pipelines need to be changed out versus repair the same locations a few times a year

Service Interruption
in parts of Central Trinidad
due to damaged main
Water and Sewerage Authority advises customers in parts of Central Trinidad, who are currently experiencing an interruption in their water supply that this is due to a ruptured 300mm diameter main under the Freeport Flyover, which was damaged by a passing vehicle at approximately 2:00 pm today – Monday 26th May, 2014.
Emergency repair works to the main will be carried out from 10:00 pm tonight, Monday 26th May, 2014 to 4:00 am on Tuesday 27th May, 2014.
This is the third time within the last two years that vehicles transporting materials outside of the legal height limit have damaged the said main.
Affected areas include:
Mayo
San Pedro,
Tortuga,
Balmain
Central Park
Motorists are also advised that during the period of repair works, traffic along the north-bound lane of the Solomon Hochoy Highway, Freeport, will be diverted to the exit and merging ramps of the Freeport Flyover. Motorists are asked to follow the instructions of Police Officers in the vicinity of the job site.
The Authority apologises for the inconvenience and thanks customers for their patience and understanding.

Not Preysal, but major leak in St James today as well. Opposite Courts.
