i recently work on one the guy bought a brain distributor and a couple other thing. So his electrician/mechanic told or advised him to do. After i checked it out it turned out to be the wiring harness had some shorts.
thanks for d replies so far goin dis weekend to hv a electrician take a look. idle air valve, map ect good so far even swapped som of dem wit spares i had an prob still persists.
well d mech say it was torqued to spec. will do a compression test and leakdown test on saturday and report back. didnt get to visit an electrician yet. so far it seems to only cut off wit d ac on.
dont no if dis is normal or even related but in chkin for loose fuses or relays d rad fan relay seems to be hot even tho d fans havent come on as yet. i also noticed start up smoke increasing more and more as how it was b4 i changed the valve seals
update: so i did a leakdown test and it tested out good. according to the tech he said everyting was good and no probs wit d head gasket and d rings are in good condition. d smoke i am getting cud be d valve seals are not good even tho i changed dem. so shud i move on to electricials or is dere anyting else to chk. also i stalled twice on my way to d leakdown test wit no ac on. valve seals an hg are d ajusa brand

wel it idles normal most times is only after a long drive it cuts out. it only puffs smoke in d morning. i tinkin prob d valve seals i used gone tru already or sumn but i dont no if it will result in dis shutting down issue
Don't knw if that engine uses coil packs...if it does its worth checking cuz if one is bad it can cause a hot engine to stall since this is when tiny holes in the coil pack stem expands and causes ur spark to leak.
