I have two sizable ones I grew from him with other smaller Orandas . An Oranda that is total length 8-9 inches and body only at 5 or so inches and a red and white Ryukin of similar proportions

they always breeding in my tank, but the other tank mates eat the eggs, simulate rain fall and good diet, feed mine bloodworms , brine, wafers, nls... My next tank Gona be only Cory's and whiptail cats so hopefully I will save the eggsbir123 wrote:Any one ever breed corys .i need some advice.
I read some things about how that if you do a water change and add slightly cooler water and this makes the corys feel that rain has fell and they breed.
The corys breed last 6 months in my main tank and never breed again .since then i moved them into a 20 gl tank and did water changes every 4 to 5 days adding cooler water trying to get them to breed with no luck.
The tank is planted with a thin layer of pool filter sand .
Btw
I have 8 corys .4 male 4 female (so i think)
Any advice.
