nuff said. I find the ad lacked a lot of information and was deliberately vague.

Their site just basically directs you to two japanese sites (SBT & ICM) to see the units available and the price, so you can input it into their on the road price calculator. SBT makes you register to see the price, but like some other japanese sites once you sign up with legit info they will harass the hell out of you. Everytime you log in they call you.

SMOC more or less just facilitating the purchase through those two sites. Their prices real low and they now come out so just be careful.

They not cheap, I called and got some quotes from them. They are just as expensive as a RORO dealer. Making 15k + profit on a car. I told the woman that i thought SMOC would be a cheaper alternative to a RORO dealer. She had the nerve to blatantly lie to me and say she dont have a markup on the quoted figures. I knew the CIF value of the car and all the TT charges.
From our brief conversation on the phone, I could tell that she does not have experience.

Just tell him hold on and leave your phone alone until he hangs up. That way the more he harasses you is the worse it is for him and it doesn't bother you at all.

You were courteous enough to tell him your situation. If he can't respect that then too bad.
