QG13 problem

got a qg13 in y11 ad... vehicle well serviced-injectors,oils,plugs,filters,etc the problem im having is wen driving on regular flat road the vehicle drivers nice and fast ,great kick off,but on any hills,inclines it gets lazy (like a dead horse) esp. on a flyover to switch lanes

is this so bcuz the cc of engine plz advise....

if it was of the CC rating then it would drive lazy no matter the terrain -
it could be the fuel pump unable to give a proper supply of fuel - have your mechanic check it out

Hi fellas I recently did a conversion on my bh Mazda 323f I installed a QG 15 twin cam Nissan engine everything was successful but the only problem I am having is a high reading on the temperature gauge, I removed the thermostat but the reading is still high my electrician told me its because the sensor on the engine is Nissan and my temperature gauge is Mazda that's why I am getting the high temperature reading can anyone help me on this thanks fellas.

well, basically what your mech is saying is that your temp. gauge range is different from what a nissan gauge ranges. either work back your previous temperature sensor with an adaptor or if it can fit as is OR buy an aftermarket gauge, and put back in your thermostat please.

really dont understand why you would do this swap when a zlde would have bolted in easier


BUT the resistance on the thermostat is why your reading is off. see if the mazda thermo can fit if not then you will need an external one as stated above
