my money is still on the aliens.

Somehow, I think even if they can't explain what happened to the plane, better to say it was hijacked and come up with an elaborate story of how the pilot stole it as a political protest...

That blog with the theory that it flew under the shadow of another 777 is insanity...now that is a movie i'd pay to see...

what they doin with the passengers tho?

I have a feeling that the location of the plane is known but it is a delicate situation that takes careful planning, time, and extreme caution in releasing information to the public.

imagine if you were on that plane na

for 5-7 hours you realize things not right....plane off course...whatever...and you know that death coming and you can't do a freaking thing about it.

that's if they're dead of course

The passengers would not have being alive for the entire 8 hours....reports stated the plane climbed to 45000ft and dropped back down.....at that altitude the air would become very thin and all the people on board except in the cockpit would have being 'knocked out' and eventually die

The person knew what he was doing to evade the radars and keep the people onboard quite

the Boeing 777-200ER is a fly-by-wire airplane -- that is, movement of the controls is converted into electrical signals that interact with flight-control computers which instruct actuators on the plane's control surfaces on the wings and tail.

The fly-by-wire control system on the 777 makes it a very stable airplane, capable of flying for hours with the autopilot off without crashing.

Its characteristics may be able to explain much of the airplane's behavior.
With the autopilot computer off, the Fly-by-wire computer will adjust for the pilot the pitch (the up or down movement of the nose of the plane) to maintain a speed set by the pilot. It will pitch up if it's going faster than the desired speed and pitch down if slower. This is called pitch trim. Therefore, when disturbed, the computer will set a series of pitch changes as it settles back down to the pilots set airspeed.

Pitch protections built into the system ensure that the airplane never goes too fast or too slow. Temporary input on the control wheel, or changes in the airplane's weight as it burns off fuel, temperature and other normal atmospheric changes along the course can initiate the altitude changes as the computer continues to seek its trimmed speed.

Auto heading changes are also expected in an autopilot-off situation. The 777's fly-by-wire computer roll control program detects the tilt of the wings. Since the airplane would be subject to atmospheric disturbances that could act to tip a wing up every now and then, these built-in protections prevent the plane from exceeding bank angles in excess of 35°. While a conventional airplane would tend to spiral down in that situation, the 777 computer will in-act automatic pitch compensation, so the airplane could easily hold its altitude in these turns and fly on into oblivion.

Just imagine in this day and age its so easy for a plane like a 777 to go missing and for pilots to have such easy access to making it disappear under radar.

These planes should be transmitting data constantly everywhere it goes, and put it in a position where NO ONE can have access to it and NOWAY for anyone to turn it off.

There is absolutely NO reason for a commercial jet to fly stealth. But governments around the world including ours aren't concerned about this because this will be additional costs in operating a Jet and building it aswell. They might fool the public by hiring some uneducated people as TSA agents who never went to school and pay them minimum wage and assume they good at their Job, "which in this case proves what I am trying to say"

This seems to be a case of possible human trafficking this is why the Malaysian government has opted not to allow the FBI to access certain records because that country is known for Human Trafficking etc and they are afraid of what might happen. That radical pilot who supports the man in Jail and this happening seem like some desperate attempt to get the US involved in this.

Must be something real sinister going on with crime there that the world does not know about and seems like this was his desperate attempt to reveal this. Everything what happens appears as if every single person was involved in this plot all the way to the ticketing agents etc.

Crashing the plane and sending a message is one thing but is people lives yuh talking about here.

The last plot on the military radar's tracking suggested the plane was flying towards India's Andaman Islands, a chain of isles between the Andaman Sea and the Bay of Bengal, they said.

Waypoints are geographic locations, worked out by calculating longitude and latitude, that help pilots navigate along established air corridors.

India recently began searching hundreds of uninhabited islands in the Andaman Sea, using heat-seeking devices.

Two Indian air force reconnaissance planes began flying over the islands as a precaution, after they and two naval ships scoured the seas surrounding the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, according to spokesman Col. Harmit Singh of India's Tri-Services Command on the territory.

The archipelago that stretches south of Myanmar contains 572 islands covering an area of 720 by 52 kilometers. Only 37 are inhabited, with the rest covered in dense forests.

My bet is that it's on one of these islands. But how long is it gonna take to search 535 uninhabited islands?

BREAKING NEWS

People living in the Maldives claim to have seen a "low flying jet" going over one of the islands on the morning of the disappearance of flight MH370.

Local website Haveeru says several residents report the sighting at around 6.15am on March 8.

They said that it was a white aircraft, with red stripes across it – which would roughly match a Malaysia Airlines aircraft.

"I've never seen a jet flying so low over our island before. We've seen seaplanes, but I'm sure that this was not one of those. I could even make out the doors on the plane clearly," said an eyewitness.

"It's not just me either, several other residents have reported seeing the exact same thing. Some people got out of their houses to see what was causing the tremendous noise too."
