W.T.K. Which SUV or Van gives the smoothest ride?

Postby ian » March 12th, 2014, 8:01 pm

Hi i am considering buying a van but i'm hearing most persons saying that vans drive very rough, is this true and if yes is a SUV a better choice for smoother ride?. Thanks in advance for any helpful comments

range is not stable on the road..i had a hse sport and it felt very lose on the road around corners it felt like i wanted to tople..i purchase the new mazda bt50 and man that is a big difference.test all other vans its the worst..the hilux has a braking problem and it fail the goose run in japan..the frontier and navara is the worst i ever drove.. shakey and boucey ..faulty crankshaft on those vehicles from the firm..the sportero has a soft torsen bar it bouses to much , that can make you run of the road..

to best so far is the ranger or bt50..van wise that is..

if you looking for an SUV. My opinion is the Hilux Surf. Drove all brands of SUVs, the surf rides like a Royal Saloon yet it handles the terrain like a land rover

I can personally tell uh the frontier and navara really bouncy. .. personally own... The hilux the vigo and the normal the ride is nice I still get the bounce effects on certain roads at certain speeds... those are my work vehicles. .. suv wise I've access to the vw tiguan and the new model rav4 and the previous model before and the rides are the smoothest I've felt in a really long time. .. I prefer the tiguan tho

SUV wise I can personally tell you that a Toyota rav4 is a real smooth ride , practically drives it self, hilux and Isuzu give a smooth ride van wise, hilux a bit bouncier though but overall smooth

Hey man, in the world where a BT-50 is a more comfortable ride than a Range Rover HSE,

Anything goes...

OP you have some kinda back problems or health problems? Smooth ride real high up on your list. Once u minus Navara,Sportero and all the other pickups with possibly the hilux as an exception, everything else has a tolerable ride. Ideally if you want a best ride spend your money on a mid size sedan.

But Dan Royal real smooth. Not a shakedown taxi Royal eh. A properly maintained stock Royal is like driving on clouds. I anti Toyota and I will admit that.
