If tonight is the first night of your learning of the diagnosis....it will be a very difficult night...and for a few days more, till your "coping mechanism" sets in.
You may have one thing in your favour...your Mom is neither very young or very old to be diagnosed....why?
Cancer attacks younger ppl much faster than it does those in their late 30s to 70s.
However, what you must first do, is to gather as much "practical and sound" advice you can get.
The internet is a source of a lot of useful info and some that is useless and can frighten you.
When Googling the your mom's symtoms and feelings...do so SPECIFICALLY, I mean TYPE in exactly what she feels and what the Doc has said her stage is at. That way you will get more detailed info.
Don't believe everything ppl tell you about "herbal remedies" or the "inefficiency of chemotherapy".
Yes natural therapies, fruits etc work, but don't think that they ALONE will cure or save your mom from the worst most feared disease known to man. It is not that simple.

Start immediately on a "fruits and vegetables" and ALL things healthy diet, a lot of water and reduce the STRESS around you cancer feeds on two (2) things: SUGAR & STRESS.
