People , a friend of mine is building his house .. an upstairs and downstairs.
I noticed the electrician is running 2.5 mm single single wires for the plug outlets.
I asked the electrician about this and he told me this is correct for a house ... he will be using 2.5
wires for the 120V outlets and 1.5 wires for the lighting circuits.
My home , same upstairs and downstairs which was built in the mid 1980 's , I noticed the 120V outlets
is using 4.0 mm single single wires.
Is the electrician is correct for using 2.5 instead of 4.0 or is he trying to cut his cost ?
