Ok so far it seems that the best skybox service (from experience) is actually aeropost. They are not the cheapest but they surely are the best in every other aspect. To be honest since other skybox providers don't do a very good job of giving customers a very concise breakdown of all shipping and local customs charges there is a possibility that aeropost's rates may actually be very competitive. If you're a first timer and you don't like surprises in your freight bill and if you value reliability aeropost does a spectacular job. I've been trying to find the same level of overall quality with cheaper rates but every other skybox falls short in some aspect.

No brother aeropost is the worst in my opinion before i used aeropost and their prices were always high. I switched to csf they charge by actual weight and now my charges are way less. For me csf was the best move i ever make. Csf always give u a breakdown on their bill

So I just got my invoice for my video card that I shipped...

$410..$300 IN VAT

What the effin hell? I never saw any pc part ever come up to that kinda price in my life bringing down parts. Now the courier claims its customs who value the item that high and attach that figure...so i wondering what they smoking ?

Usually I have no problems with this courier but this, this is just outrageous. I'm hoping it really is customs, as the courier may absorb the cost.

Eg a friend brought down a Note 8 tab a few weeks aback , and customs attached duties to it as a phone, not a tab, and when he queried the courier they absorbed the cost as it wasn't his fault or theirs. Although this was a different courier, i'm hoping the same might happen with me.

first of all by best i mean they are fast(packages received here within a week of them receiving it in Miami) they are reliable... i have never had a single problem with any of dozens of packages i shipped through them in over 5 years, they offer tracking for all packages, the allow you to prealert your packages to expedite the customs process, you can email upload invoices to clear your packages, they have a very useful calculator that gives you a perfect estimate of not just vat and duties but other hidden charges such as fuel surcharge etc, they send you a text message everytime your package arrives and clears customs so if it's something you need urgently you can have it in the shortest time possible. I have even late paid by almost a full year to renew my skybox and they still process my packages. Since i don't know anyone there personally I can only assume this is the level of customer service all their customers can expect. Like i said they are not cheap though but that's the only downside i can think of. I don't think they offer an ocean freight service... maybe that may be a minus for some people. Anyway I answered your question to the best of my memory... now can YOU tell me if there's any skybox that can beat that?

I'm with Aeropost and agree they are good after a period of rubbish slow service recently, however, you set up yourself there with the hidden charges and delivery within a week (it's really more like 2 days).

Lol if a package reach miami monday. I can collect tuesday evening in trinidad. Ive got packages from their drivers on holidays. 6am saturday morning. Been to their office 11pm friday nights to collect packages. You can prealert. You get emails as soon as an item reaches miami. You get invoices as soon as they clear it. They are expensive tho. I thibk 3.10 usd a lb

I use aeropost but they expensive sometimes but have to admit the rate of how fast packages reach the counter from miami and ready to collect is impressive.
