Yes, if the item can be shipped to Canada, they will send it via Ground and charge the receiver duties and the shipping fee. Sometimes they include the duties in the final price. It is just like ordering something from Amazon.com and shipping it to Trinidad, if it's available.
Only use the USA site if you cannot find the item on Amazon.ca. Despite free shipping, they would have additionally added the duties and currency conversion to the Amazon.ca price in $CDN. So you're not going to save that much except the time/hassle of border inspection.
