Ordered a car from Neal and Massy, salesperson told me 18 days for it to arrive in Trinidad, even showed me it on the system's database. Called 19 days after just to follow up..... She told me it was here but going to verify and call me back. No call back...... When I called she told me 15 days to wait. Now this is just for the car to arrive, still has to go through licensing process. Is this normal?

From what I heard. You might have to wait another 2 weeks for licensing

They was making me wait 114 days for an elantra, that was just for it to reach in the country. It would have probably taken another 2 weeks to deliver.
Is not technically their fault, just that the car was in such high demand globally and Hyundai only allocates a small number to us. Read that they were concentrating on quality rather than building new factories to fill demand.

^^ Yes it does. The chevy sonic on the other hand, completely different story. The new mazda 3 will be interesting as well, particularly what ridiculous price ss might put on it. theyve started well with the 6 pricewise lets see if they continue...

Really nice ride I'd say. Sat in one at the showroom. Think it's well worth the money.

pretty much every single new vehicle was discussed at length right here in this thread. When they come up again it is usually the same story. The Optima should be compared against the Passat Comfortline. Despite the Optima's fancy panoramic sunroof and leather seats I'll choose the VW over it in a heart beat.

That's supposed to be a good price? New model coming in March. Wonder how much it would be.

well they are both around 200k no?
give or take 20k when you takin a loan that size the installment difference isnt substantial anyway
basing my assumption on the cerato and elantra being from 195-210 or there abouts

True. Just don't see the point in buying one at that price if the new model coming in a few months.

True for a hopefully 20k difference the new one is the better buy. This just goes to show they could have sold the 3 for this price all the time

I'm sure they could go much lower. The lancer was 165k a few months ago.

mazda 3 is 199k now LOL big deal its still a rip off despite the 6k discount
cerato at 202k is a much better deal especially since the said kia is more powerful and has more features

metalgear last I heard the Passat 1.8TSI Comfortline is $290-295k even if it went up slightly, its a far better car than the Optima.

Would take a smiley face over the new cerato. New cerato reminds me of a praying mantis eyes with dem ugly ass headlights.

The old Mazda 3 has the advantage of being tried and tested. At the end of a car cycle the car should have had all its kinks and minor/major problems worked through. In addition to its lower price (I am sure the new mazda will be at least 20 K more) this is still a very viable option!

Ok.....so besides the general consensus that the Juke is ugly, can anyone shed some information on the actual performance and/or issues with this vehicle?
