Amazon announces ten-dollar increase to free-shipping minimum

Amazon raised its free shipping minimum on Tuesday from $25 to $35. You won’t find this change telegraphed on the main page next to the Kindle. In fact, it’s kind of hard to find at all.

But it’s there, hidden in the depths. “Amazon’s minimum order size for free shipping has changed to $35. This is the first time in more than a decade that Amazon has altered the minimum order for free shipping in the U.S.,” says the succinct page the company put up to announce the decision.

still not gonna make me renew prime. prime gone to the dogs now.
every other order was late by a day or two.
then when u call customer service some dotish turban wearing indian from india fighting u down or just plain stupid. i always avoid amazon csrs with indian names. always hadda pray for an american.

yeah amazon raised their total checkout to qualify for free shipping. honestly i prefer to buy from walmart you get most of the same stuff as amazon and its cheaper
