Ewart's 600+ GTiR Pulsar vs Josef's AWD B15
(nitrous solenoid on the B15 wasn't working hence the breaking up through the revs)

doubt it was THAT missed....

but it's just little things that people do to the cars while they 'wait' for the next event,
there's a bit of 'street heat' at the moment, but nothing that'll make it like earlier this year.

wrt to last vid....trying to learn....

do the officials send the signal to the "christmas tree" for the winning lane or is it automated once you do not red light at the start?

it's automated, but that was the repaired system with repaired sensors, so it was giving trouble that night (clearly)

and the lights usually light up the same time the 'winner' of the dialed in car crosses the finish line (assuming the other person didn't red light, or has completed the 1320)

for example one of the biggest disadvantages of this timing system is that lets say two REALLY high powered cars go down the track, and the left lane clocks a time, lets say a personal best, like an x sec pass, or lets say something 'quick' the only time the computer will print the slip is when the run is 'complete' ....meaning when the second car crosses the finish line.... in some cases, if the car stalls, or breaks, and doesn't cross the line.... and the guys at the control tower 'reset' the system, then that pass was then null/void.

has happened many times when cars break and just turn off the track, crossing the wires, damaging the system (no matter how much we tell them DONT do that :| ) people still do.

it's understood if sheit's leaking from your car you should 'pull to the side' but not across the wires

anyway.... either way, that's the current timing system we have.....

(note, this is dinosaur technology btw, everything is now wireless and literally n!gga proof.... meaning, there's no human error or flaw, EVERYTHING is automated, from prestaging to staging to green lights.

it's amazing when you see it in action in the US.... we get like 3 - 4 passes a minute

^VERY efficient.
