Flow Internet Thread

Want to increase the strength of my flow wireless Internet to another house in the same compound. What do I have to do

Repeater, better router

Buy a router or repeater to connect to the flow router or to attach to it. Not tech savy

flow switched the arris 502g modem to an arris tm822.
2hrs after tech left still no internet.
after 30mins on the phone they said it wont be fixed till tomorrow lunch time .
using my tstt 4mb backup connection . PAIN

after numerous reboots on the new modem to get it working , my 15mb(20?) package is now 10mb/1mb .
another 30 min call to fix this issue .

What the difference with the new router ? And are u only gettin when u update ur package or something

Why people should wait during these changes, as there are so many things going on internally, your requests sometimes either get lost or lobbed in with others.

So I wont have net when they tech leaves? Trying to call flow burn $40 off my phone just on hold....what kinda nonsense is that I hearing.

Well they came, late but not a big deal. Was without net for a few hours altho they said they would call me back in 10 mins (1 hour). I ended up having to use out all my money to get through to them after being on hold for 20 mins. Only then, I got back service.

Typical flow crap.

Got my modem changed on Sunday they were supposed to come before lunch end up coming 5pm internet was not working for 2 hrs called flow after 45mins on the phone internet finally worked. Around 9pm it went down called Flow again and told them bring back my old modem the new one is crap they got it working around 10pm. Woke up this morning no internet had to call them again

Why the modem change.

When I asked the tech who was here changing mine, she said its to handle the new speeds that the old ones cant. And also, that these "new" ones may need replacing soon too.

They came today to upgrade @ 9am..just got back service @ 9:28pm tried calling a few times but didnt get thru.. or rather cudnt wait long enough on hold.

Nope only me, so he told me seems like an issue on there side..so idk what to do if it happen again but call n wait 2hr
Because i wasnt gettin any internet on my mobile devices only on pc's kinda weird right? But say wah it fix now hope it does happen again because flow is headache

What's the cost of static IP for residential?

Have you tried days. It provides you with a human readable address instead of an ip address.
