Why do some people feel threatened by the freedom of speech? Do they believe that their morals and values are the best and should be extended to the rest of society? Do they believe that society will suddenly degrade and fall into anarchy just because someone expresses an idea that is contradictory to their ideas?
So why stop at that song? Censor the internet. Censor all the airwaves, radio and TV. Ban what some people don't like because of the way some few want to interpret art. Ban books that don't adhere to your mode of thinking. Don't teach your own children morals and values and show them how to respect other human beings with their actions and be a role model to them. Don't teach your kids to be tolerant and understand the context of how some things are said. NOPE, nope nope, ban Harry Potter because it's witchcraft and allows us to have an imagination. "Think of the children, will somebody think of the children?!"
I have nothing better to do than actively use my time to listen to this song and interpret it in the most sexual, abusive and gender inequality way, instead of just turning off the source and doing something else with my life. "Will somebody think of the CHILDREN!!"
Live in a democracy, where the will of the majority of the people is enacted, not a Republic where our freedoms and the will of the people stands on a Constitution. Stop the freedom of people being able to share ideas and develop culture and art. All because you are a coward who lives in fear of progressivism and are so scared that you didn't raise your child properly that he will suddenly start raping women because he heard this song on the radio.
