Cell phone home booster

Postby Team Loco » October 3rd, 2013, 6:44 pm

Is there any truthfully good products out there to boost a cellphone signal. Specifically for home? I get a digicel signal but its poor. Possibly an antennea on the roof top? I know about the digicel home phone but i am not interested in that. Just need to boost my cell signal. Thanks

You would have to discuss this with Digicel. Iam speaking fom personal experience, but I honestlty cannot go into details. What you need is a Repeater!

http://www.amazon.com/Wilson-Electronic ... 436&sr=1-3

Used this on a rig off the east coast. Works great. Just point towards a cell site (or where u think one is).
May not like the price though.

Are these applicable to any network?

the wilson products work great, i have the single cradle in work and it boosts the signal by 20 to 30db. (-84db without booster, -54db with booster)

i use a headset to talk while in work as its the cradle version.

yea i know, but for some reason, i got really poor service (alot of calls being missed without phone ringing, slow messaging, emails slow to receive/send) when i added the booster, the problem solved.

You select the band you wanna boost. Catered for both networks iirc.

guys if anyone is interested. i'm selling my booster.

http://www.amazon.com/Wilson-Electronic ... 003FGWGPS/

please note that this only works for 2G signal, this is not the 3G/4G model.

$500. comes in box and everything. still works perfect and just sat on my desk in work.
