Nissan already developed the car and it is sold in both developed and developing countries. The R&D and testing done before the car was actually released on the world market should have factored in conditions such as ours here in T&T. There is no different 'prognosis' these five employees of NM can deliver to Nissan Motor Corp. of Japan that will cause them to change any part/component as a result of 'testing' in T&T. Even if two thousand is sold from 2014 to 2017/18 it still wouldn't command a business case to alter the product significantly for our market. We are a drop in the global bucket for Nissan and quite frankly it raises a flag in terms of how well prepared the car is after all for our surface heat, humidity and close proximity to the sea shore.

This could be another sneaky campaign to build awareness of the return of the Sentra....maybe photos would also appear in facebook as part of the 'testing' process.

Pfft. I think they just keeping them "for testing" to strip one down to a suitable base model for sale.

Neal and Massy know very well that they trying to build the resurfacing awareness of the "Sentra" brand, hoping that they re-caputre the sale figures of the last offering... Alas, they not realizing that market forces have since changed... And the still trying to bring a model that they could have accessed this year if they made a submission to Nissan global earlier.... but then they would have been making LESS profit. The older the model gets, the less of a premium price they will pay on a block purchase...... not to mention the full option listing probably not gonna be available unless you willing to pay top dollar..

I remember seeing some invoices from a trading company in Japan where they were........... never mind.... lol

Landed cost for the vehicle on tradecarview is abt 200k or just under. Wonder whether any RORO dealer gonna bring it in and beat N&M to the market.

Then again the RORO dealers we have here probably gonna want 250k for it, so N&M could underprice them.

Ultimate Virtual Marketers offering this landed at $195,000.00. It is a new car from Japan, but lacks many of the features of the US Sentra. No steering wheel controls, no push to start, real basic. Hope this is not the model N&M will be offering...
