hi tuners there is a guy distributing this scan tool and says it works on b15 almera n y11 and pleanty japan vehicles however he is out of stock n kinda stickign to get stock so i would like to knw if any1 has this tool ill pay for a demo

wont work to my knowledge. A tool that will work for a japan market vehicle wont necessarily work on a singapore model vehicle. I have scan tools that run all obd2 standards and still wont work on some nissans.

because those nissans QG and older dont use obdii

proprietary nissan protocols? I realised, some are obd2 compatible, some aren't.

Most scan tools that come from the US cannot read JDM because of of different protocols I.e. the communication language between the scan tool and the brain box. Fork some reason USDM uses a different protocol to JDM.

both been discussed quite often here, if only the search was working.


LOL @ for some reason. the standard was never a standard.
theres quite a nice list of cars by protocol i posted here before.

if its the CreaderVIII that he's selling (original) it will work on all the cars you mentioned.

the creader viii and the code reader 8 are different.

Ok. I see. For that price you can get the CreaderVII or CRP123 as it's cheaper than the VIII & I know it will work for the vehicles you mentioned.
